Digitally Mediated Teaching and Learning
EDU 520 refers to Digitally Mediated Teaching and Learning. This class was used to teach how to use technology, navigate within, and communicate all within the digital environment we live in.
One must learn to manage their digital identity which is anything someone puts online via Facebook, twitter, articles written, even Pintrest and so much more. To continue deeper into the digital world the class reviews the 9 elements of digital Citizenship.

EDU 520 encourages the learner to use the PLE as well as WordPress, LinkedIn, blogging, and creating videos. The last project was the creation of Wiki.

EDU520 Wiki Group Project Reflection
The collaborative Wiki project was unique to me since it was my husband and myself. We have not done any education collaboration since our undergraduate studies in 1984. It was interesting to see if we could still work together, educationally, after 36 years. We decided to use communications through the Wiki site as much as possible since our schedules are unique. I found it easy to work together since we responded to each other promptly within the site. The video presentations were worked on together side-by-side for a bit, but most was independently created. Overall an easy group effort with excellent results.
